My Story
Originally from Bolivia, I moved to Bay Area to pursue a career in STEM a decade ago. I’ve always been attracted to science and technology, but my interest grew, even more, when I discovered the field of UX Design and research and how it impacts all industries, products, and services.
I have an extensive experience in planning conducting, and debriefing research studies under tight deadlines and working with diverse teams across projects and companies. I use my background in scientific research in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry to approach design problems through an unbiased lens and I apply a scientific method approach to my practice in order to validate and iterate design solutions. Additionally, I have experience volunteering with local non-profit organizations focusing in women’s rights in developing countries. Its a humbling experience that helped me understand how important it is to empathize and communicate with people to learn their needs and pains to brainstorm an impactful and successful project or intervention.
Outside of work, you can find me trying new brunch menus from local restaurants, watching the latest stand-up comedy special, or listening to a true-crime podcast.
